new year's card

for those i don't get around to sending our new year's card to (too late to call it a christmas card), i'm posting the pictures & text here. you probably won't be able to read it, but nonetheless it's posted.

2007 contained lots of adventures for us! Here are some of the highlights (as shown

- took outer island trips to Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii (1/07 and 2/07)

- went to top of Haleakala, Mauna Kea and saw USGS marker at Mauna Loa

- had our Omaha wedding reception, courtesy of the Wollenburg parents, NE (3/07)

- went to Scott and Annie’s wedding in Lincoln, NE (3/07)

- Brent and Eddie roller skating in old apt, Lincoln, NE (3/07)

- Kokua Festival concert featuring Jack Johnson and Eddie Vedder (4/07)

- Brent went to the AIA convention in Texas (5/07)

- Heather tackled an emergency oil spill response at Pearl Harbor (5/07)

- went to Brad and Julie’s wedding in North Shore, Oahu (6/07)

- Goodbye barbeque at friend John’s place, Oahu (6/07)

- another family barbeque: crazy cousins Amy and Abby (6/07)

- packed all our belongings, sold Heather’s car and moved from Oahu to California (6/07)

- Brent and Heather got new jobs in northern California; Gensler and ERRG, respectively (6/07)

- we adopted Harley, a 2 year old boxer (7/07)

- went wine tasting in Napa with friends (8/07)

- barbequed at Stinson Beach, California (9/07)

- dressed up Harley in his Halloween costume and carved pumpkins (10/07)

- went to Dave and Liz’s wedding in Omaha, NE (10/07)

- SKYDIVING in Sonoma, California with Eddie and Lindsay (11/07)

- celebrated our 1 yr anniversary at Culinary Institute Academy, Napa (11/07)

- tried to cut our own Christmas tree at the Christmas Tree Farm (12/07)

- went to Alcatraz with Brent’s family, San Francisco, California (12/07)

- spent Christmas in California: Merrily, Fred, Brian, Stacey, Joann, Daryl, Abbie, Jason (12/07)
