These are some of the highlights of my trip to see my best friend, Erin, in Boston, MA. We went to Harvard, Nathaniel Hall, the North End for dinner and canoli, Fenway Park (picture shown), The Holocaust monument (picture shown), the JFK Museum and Library (picture shown). We also went to a great store, The Paper Source - which everyone should get to know! We had Vietnamese Pho at Lemongrass, brunch at Country Cafe, chowder (aka chowda) and went shopping - oh, and lots of coffee! Most notable phrase to come out of the trip: CHOWDA, say it LOUDA, eat it with POWDA. and no, it doesn't make any sense but we're crazy and like to yell it because it rhymes. I ended up volunteering my seat on Monday night so I could snag a free RT ticket and stayed to see Mike and get a real Boston lager beer before I left. It's only been about 6 days since I've been back and I miss E already. She's my black sister and my best friend; someday we'll live around the corner from each other or at least in the same state again. And when that day comes I'll truly be happy again!
